David Lynch’s Secret New Project Is an Album and Music Video With ‘Twin Peaks: The Return’ Star Chrystabell

In the words of The Giant: it’s happening again… again. It is another collaboration between director David Lynch and singer/actress Chrystabell, who starred as FBI agent Tammy Preston in ‘Twin Peaks: The Return’.

Over Memorial Day weekend, Lynch cryptically teased something new that audiences could “see and hear” on June 5. And no, the project isn’t the rebirth of his planned post-“Twin Peaks” series, “Unrecorded Night,” canceled during the pandemic. It’s an album with Chrystabell, “Cellophane Memories,” out August 2 via Sacred Bone Records. And along with the Wednesday, June 5 announcement, the label shared a new video for “Sublime Eternal Love,” featuring Chrystabell and directed by Lynch. Check it out below.

Lynch and Chrystabell, a Texas native, first collaborated on his 2007 film ‘Inland Empire’. After Chrystabell contributed to that soundtrack, Lynch worked on her debut album “This Train” and subsequent EP “Somewhere in the Nowhere. ..
