Bridget Jones’ new move is filmed at a London school

The latest installment of the Bridget Jones film franchise is filmed at a school falsely accused of running a satanic pedophile ring.

Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy is currently filming in London, with Renee Zellweger reprising her iconic character. It is the fourth part of the successful film series and Hugh Grant also returns as Daniel Cleaver. Filming for the new movie was thrown into chaos earlier this week after a major star suffered a nasty injury.

It has been reported that filming has been postponed, with one source claiming it has been a “total disaster”. However, the action continued as the crew was filming on location at a school in North London. They were spotted at Christ Church Primary in Hampstead, a school falsely accused of running a satanic pedophile ring.

In the fourth film, Renee Zellweger’s Bridget struggles with widowhood and single motherhood after the death of Mark Darcy (Colin Firth). Bridget is now the mother of two young children: Billy and Mabel. She enrolls them in their local primary school, which is given a fictional name in the film.

It is unclear whether producers were aware of the school’s past as it was recently the subject of a Channel 4 documentary. Accused: The Hampstead Pedophile Hoax told how the neighborhood was rocked by false accusations in 2014. Two students at the school alleged that a Satan-worshipping pedophile ring of approximately “175 parents, teachers and religious leaders” had abused children in the area.

Police found no evidence for such allegations. However, the alleged abusers were subjected to harassment, death threats and online abuse. It was later reported that the two children, who were siblings, had fabricated the allegations after being threatened and abused by their mother to do so.

The cast of Bridget Jones has been spotted filming the new movie in London in recent weeks. In footage obtained exclusively by the Mirror, Renee shot the film’s first school scenes, watching her daughter Mabel and son Billy on screen in their uniforms. She cut a casual figure in a chic suit and covered her clothes with a cream-colored padded coat.

Other actors in the film included one of her upcoming love interests, Mr Walker, played by Chiwetel Ejiofor – also pictured on the production set in the capital was actress Leila Farzad. Bridget was recently pictured sitting in a tree as a young park ranger rushed to save her in other film scenes.
