Congratulations are in order! Jodi Balfour and Abbi Jacobson got married in a wedding in Brooklyn, New York, where there was “total togetherness.”

The Ted Lasso And Broad city stars respectively took to Instagram on June 6 through a joint post with Cultured Magazine to give insight into their wedding, where they shared photos from their nuptials.

Balfour and Jacobson’s wedding took place three years after their first date, the outlet reported. At their wedding, they shared their first dance to Aretha Franklin’s “Don’t Let Me Lose This Dream.”

Jacobson told the magazine about their plans for an outdoor wedding ceremony followed by al fresco dining, but this had to be changed at the last minute due to the weather.

Jacobson said: “It was such kismet because the ceremony wasn’t what we expected, but it was exactly what we hoped for. People were packed together. When we looked out at the audience, our friends were sitting on stools, peeking through the plants and sitting on top of the booths. I’ve never been to a wedding like this.”

Balfour added: “Due to the rain, our outdoor dinner became a covered buffet. I remember calling Emma, ​​the chef, on the verge of tears about the idea of ​​a damn buffet. We had been planning the sit-down dinner for months. Emma said: ‘It’s going to be beautiful. There will be no Bunsen burners. ”
