Sumter woman with dementia missing; vehicle last seen in Charleston

Sumter Police are asking for the public’s help to find a missing woman who was last seen Thursday afternoon.

Barbara Muldrow, 72, of Thomas Drive, who suffers from dementia, was last seen locally by family this afternoon as she headed to a relative’s home in Sumter but never arrived, according to Tonyia McGirt, police department public information officer . .

Muldrow’s vehicle, a black 2007 Ford F-150 with a silver toolbox and SC tag KZF216, was last seen in Charleston County.

She is 6 feet tall, weighs approximately 165 pounds and was last seen wearing an orange shirt and blue capri pants.

Anyone who sees Muldrow or her vehicle is asked to immediately call police at (803) 436-2700, dial 911 or call the nearest law enforcement agency.
