NJ Transit delays at Penn Station due to track work – NBC New York

Another day, another headache for NJ Transit riders.

Rail work is once again causing major delays to commuter traffic – this time on Friday morning – after peak hour traffic was disrupted the evening before.

Rail services to and from New York Penn experienced delays of 45 minutes from 8:10 a.m. due to track work. Midtown Direct rail services are being diverted to Hoboken.

NJ Transit train tickets and passes will be honored by NJ Transit bus, private carriers and PATH at Newark, Hoboken and 33rd Street, NJ Transit said.

Passengers can find more information about alternative routes here.
